ASSESSMENT DATES
January
All properties are assessed as of January 1 of the tax year.
March
Senior Citizen Assessment Freeze applications and status cards for the Senior exemption are mailed by the Supervisor of Assessments Office.
June
First installment of the property tax bill is due.
September
Second installment of the property tax bill is due.
Fall
The Assessor's Office closes the Assessment books. Change of Assessment letters are mailed, and assessment changes are published in the local newspaper. Taxpayers have 30 days from the date of publication to file an appeal of their assessment.
